Thank you for compiling and posting so much information about this William Marshall Brownley. Have you found a connection to him in your tree? My ancestors lived with him on Horn Harbor. I've been reviewing the land tax records and plats. My theory is that his mother died and his father married Johanna Armistead. Rev. John Brownley and Johanna had at least 3 boys, Robert W., Leroy M., & Larkin C. between 1826 - 1830. As I'm sure you know, the records before 1865 are few. I would be happy to share my findings. Thanks again!

My great-grandmother lived in The Farmhouse at AldenDale in the late 1800's.. Peachy Brownley. If anyone has any information about her childhood, I would love to hear from you!
